People who want to lose weight tend to shy away from these exercises, because they are under the impression that because you only do them for a short amount of time, they can’t burn that many calories.
This is where most people make a mistake. While you can get value from both, there is a hidden benefit from doing short bursts of high intensity exercise. Of course, you will get maximum benefit from doing a combination of both exercises. Some choose to alternate days, running one day, and lifting weights the next. Others like to do a little bit of both every day.
